Coaching Options for Living Gently ... With Abandon! WaveMaker™ Coaching
The WaveMaker™ - for more technical details go to the Great Life Technologies website. |
Using the Wave Maker™ in coaching No one I know gets out of childhood without some 'stuff' to work through. However, in coming to coaching, the understanding is that the client is ready, willing and able to be coached to take actions that will allow them to lead the life they truly want.
In coaching, the client is perceived by both the Coach and
themselves to be healthy and powerful, and possessing the innate expertise
and willingness to achieve the goals he/she chooses.
The
Coach's role is to create a space and provide on-going clarity, focus and
support of the client's actions towards reaching those goals. Over the years, I've received training from a number of sources in scores of tools, programs and methods which I've integrated into my coaching 'toolkit'. Less than a month before his unexpected death in February 2003, Thomas Leonard (Visionary and Creative Genius in the world of coaching) introduced me to a new way of identifying the underlying dynamics operating when we find ourselves stuck, and a revolutionary tool for clearing away those blocks. These were being pioneered by Tom Stone, and have for me become one of the primary methods I use with my clients to identify and shift what have seemed like rocks or barriers to progress, into stepping stones along the way. The technology is called a WaveMaker™ and I was the first coach in Canada to purchase one. Using it myself and with clients over the last several years has been an exciting and fulfilling journey! I'll briefly describe the process below. A much fuller description of the way this technology works can be found at Tom Stone's Great Life Technologies website. |

In addition to our external environment, our internal environment (our thoughts, feelings and intentions) play a huge role in creating the landscape of our life. Debris (stuff left around from old experiences and conditioning) polluting our internal environment, can 'leak out' and affect our external environment making the landscape of our lives not as beautiful and creative as we might want them to be. Even when we're cognitively aware of things we want to change in our lives, our commitment to these new intentions or desires often triggers old patterns of energy which we experience as the debris of conflicting intentions. These often show up in the form of statements like, "Yes, I want to do this, but ..." It is the energy of these conflicting intentions that interferes with (detracts from and sometimes completely derails) our ability to achieve what we think (and often say) we want. So one way of dealing with a situation in which there's a desire or intention in our life that despite our best efforts seems stuck or unchanging, is to wonder about the presence of conflicting intentions. In coaching, it is possible to to check for the presence of these conflicting intentions using kinesiology (muscle checking.) If discovered, there are a number of ways of cancelling out the destructive interference of these conflicting intentions, but the most direct, simple and powerful method I've discovered is through using the Wave Maker™. You may be wondering, "Just how is this done?!" Through the brass handles which are being held (see photo above), the very sensitive scanning mechanism picks up the disharmonious patterns of our conflicting intentions, and clears them by sending the mirror image of this energy wave back to the body. The energy pattern of the conflicting intention is destroyed, leaving the energy of the positive intention for change to be enacted without interference. The WaveMaker™ can also be used to activate or strengthen the energy of a positive or desired intention or state, leaving a resonance with the newly cleared intention statement at 100% of optimal. This process is quick, easy, safe and very effective. It maximizes our efforts to enact change, and minimizes waste of precious resources.
