Big space living ...

We are created in the image of an extravagant God who adores every particle of creation, and desires to be in relationship with every human creature.

Becoming fully alive is a lifelong adventure of listening to and clarifying (to use Robert Benson's phrase) the "word that was whispered into me in the depths of my mother's womb" about:  

• who I really am  

• what I truly want and

• the unique gift I have to offer to the world.  

As that happens, the result will be:

• I will be free to live in an increasingly large 'space' - abundant living!

• the world will benefit from the addition of my unique gifts

• others will be drawn to wonder about the source of my aliveness - my relationship with the Creator of the universe  

The challenge of course, is not only uncovering and developing this, but learning the skills of being authentically me within the community in which I live.  There is always the challenge of the fine balance between our need to live and express ourselves as a unique individual, and our equally real need for community.  Recognizing and honouring the web of connection and interdependence is crucial for our very survival.  Learning the skills of loving and accepting ourselves and each other, and living and making choices from a place of love and not fear is an essential facet of our lifelong journey.
